Mathew Bell worked as a graphic artist before retraining at Capel Manor Horticultural college. Since then he has gone on to win many awards including a Gold medal at Chelsea Flower show.

Over the past fifteen years Mathew has built up a successful garden design practice with many commissions in both the private and commercial sector. He uses his artistic/design background to create varied and practical designs backed up with a comprehensive knowledge in plant design and construction. Size, location, budget and lifestyle all provide the inspiration to create unique gardens.

Working closely with his clients Mathew provides a bespoke service, offering consultation, design and project management.

Mathew has been a “Full Member” of the Society of Garden Designers for 10 years. It is the only recognised governing body for garden design and ensures all clients working with its members receive a professional and experienced service.
